Video CD Library Management System is an application that is designed for tracking the sales activity that takes place in the video CD shops. The first step would be to enter all the CD details that are present in the shop. This will be authorized only to the admin. The admin will be authorized to add, delete or update the records. The staff will be having only the read permission. By entering all the details of the CD’s, the owner will be having a correct picture of the sales that has taken place in the particular month or year. This application will also help in generating the sales reports with great ease. The user interface must be simple and easy to understand even by the common man. The features that can be included in this application are Customer database management, billing, sales management and reports. Technology used for this project include VB 6.0 as the front-end and Microsoft Access 2003 as the back-end.

Video CD Library Management System Project is about a Library Management System. This software is mainly used to sell the cd’s in shop. This software is very helpful to keep track the sales activity of CD and to maintain the records. Even it stores complete customer record with customer name, address, contact number, etc.

The first step in this project is adding all cd’ s in the software which are in the CD shop. Only admin has rights to add the record, edit, view or delete the record from the database. The staff can only view the report and he has option to collect the payment. When the customer purchase the CD the billing will be calculated automatically. CD records and customer details will be stored in the database. User can view how reports of how many CD’s sold , rent for a month. Admin can generate all kinds of report and he can store all reports in printed paper format.
