Point of Sales and Inventory System

Point of Sales and Inventory System is a powerful windows application which allows to manage sales and inventory records. This software contains User maintenance, Supplier management, different Categories of the product, Items or products, etc. This project is developed by diploma students and this software is developed for fulfilling the daily requirements of Industries, retailers, wholesalers, etc. The front end of the software is visual basic and mysql is the backend of the software.

POS is a very popular software in now a days. This software is very powerful and it takes complete with all types of retail businesses. This project has 6 main modules. They are File, Master module, Transaction module, Reports module, View module, Utilities module, Window and help module. We have created shortcut for main icons in this project. There are different types of users in this project but the administrator is the main user. administrator can create employees and other users in User module. The product icon allows users to add products to the database with product name, product description, product price, etc. The reports module which generates sales report, supplier report, purchase report, customer billing, etc.

Software requirements:

You must install following software to run this project. please restore mysql database after installing mysql server. Find the connection string in the program and update connection string details.

Front End: Visual Basic 6.0
Back End: MySQL Server
