The proposed system is enti tled ‘Blood Bank Software’. The basic purpose of the system is to accommodate and maintain the records of Donor, accounts and Staff details. The system will provide the user the option to look at the details of the existing Donor Lis t, Blood Group and to add a new Donor. It also allows the user to modify the record. The administrator can alter all the system data. It is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the front end and Microsoft Access as the back end.

Old System and New System:
Currently the records arestored manually as the user accustomed to Windows environment, VBas the front end provides user-friendly environment making it moreconvenient and easy to use. As the required hardware for the proposed system is already presentwith the organization, we need to install only specific software’swhich will support the working of the proposed system. The new system covers all the aspects of the existing system as wellas enhanced features for the existing system For e.g. Bill provision etc. The new system is been developed keeping in mind the current andfuture requirements of the organization. The new system will operate feasibly and will contain an automateddatabase for storage.
