An online examination system is a computer-based tool that allows colleges to administer exams and assessments remotely over the internet. It typically includes a website or web-based application that students can use to access exams and submit their answers. This is an PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) – MySQL Based Online Examination System. Here Administrator creates Exam. First administrator creates different subject , then he uploads question and multiple choice answers. Administrator provides login information to Students. Complete project with database uploaded in this article. This project is developed for diploma students.

Why this project – This examination system website is a new technique which conducts an examination through Online.
Why its popular – The formal paper based examination system is a very long procedure to conduct an examination. The formal system makes everything in paper based. It gives convenient time to attend the exam for students.
All in One – This is fully automated system with Low cost, minimum effort, minimum employee deployment, reliable and accurate, saving lots of time, instant result after examination, no time wasting for checking the paper. This can be used anywhere as it is a web based application.
How to attend online Exam – First you have to create account in the site. After registration you have to login to the system. After login click on attend exam. It conducts examination only after login with registered username and password.
Who can use this project – This system is very useful for educational Institutes, Colleges, Schools, Banking exam centers, etc.
Its easy to store and retrieve students information and their examination reports.
This is built PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL Server (lite)
Here are some features that you might consider including in your online examination system:
- Exam creation and management: The system should allow administrators to create and manage exams, including adding questions, setting a time limit, and specifying the available exam dates.
- Question types: The system should support a range of question types, such as multiple choice, true/false, and short answer.

There are three types of users in this system:
1) Administrator – Manages complete website.
2) Teacher – uploades question and answers for exam.
3) Student – Writes exam and generates examination report.
