The purpose system dance academy management system is to help the customers want to enquire about the dance classes as it has an online form where the customers can apply online for the classes to join. The account of each student is maintained and attendance is recorded for every student which will help the parents to know when and where their children have attended the dance class. It will make the customers keep updated about all the events that will be conducted in the dance class. It also conducts various competitions where the students can participate by paying the registration fees.
Project Scope and Product Features
- The students must register to the website by entering all their details. Once the registration is successful, they can login to the web page.
- Students can update their profile details and also, they can change their password details.
- The students can then view the dance forms and join to the class of their choice. Once the payment is complete, they can view the classes they have been joined.
- The students can view their payment report and billing receipt.
- The students can view the various competitions to be held in the dance academy. They can take part in the competitions by paying the registration fees of the competitions. The students can view their competitors for the competitions.
- They can also view the events that are to be held in the dance academy and also the updates about every competition.
- The admin of the web page must add the branches of the dance academy.
- The admin can add the different categories of the dance forms, competitions and events.
- Once the competition is started timely update of the competition status must be updated by the admin.
- Admin can add the category of the costumes for rent. Once the category is added based on the categories the different costumes can be uploaded by the admin.
- The admin can view rent made by various customers and also the admin can view the customer details.
- The admin must update the student attendance status.
- The admin is the one who manages the entire web page and monitors all the users as well as the activities of the web page.

- Employee account module: Admin is the one who manages the entire website and also has the full authority over all the activities of the dance academy management system. The admin monitors the other users of the website. It also includes the dance trainers who can add the events and competitions to be held in the academy.
- Student account module: Student must register by entering all the details. Once the registration is successful, they can login to the web page by entering valid login credentials.
- Dance class module: in this module, admin can add the various dance forms. The dance forms include the name of the dance form and description about the dance form.
- Attendance module: In this module, the employees can add the attendance details of the students as present or absent. The students can view their attendance report details.
- Competition module: In this module Admin can create new competitions and students can participate for the competition. Admin can enter competition result. All the results can be viewed by students.
- Events module: In this module employees can post events that are to be held in the different locations of the dance academy and anyone can view events published by employees.
- Rental module: The dance academy is dealing with another business. The admin can add the category of costumes which can be rented by the customers by paying rent.
