College Voting System In VB.Net – This project aims at developing a Voting System for College. It manages the election of the President and Vice Presidents of the college. This project is aimed at developing a College Voting System for Colleges. The main objective of developing this system is for voting purpose which saves lot of time in counting process. It will make voting process fully computerized which is very fast and efficient. Also this application maintains college student’s record, candidate record and voting record. This software can be used by any colleges to make election computerized.
The system will take care of all the election activity like voting, adding the candidates name, result, counting of votes in a quick manner. Data storing is easier. It will be able to check the number of votes for each candidate. Paper work and manual work is reduced. The system is user friendly and easy to use. All the votes will be stored in the database and it avoids any miscalculation.
Scope of College Voting System In VB.Net:
This project is helpful to computerize the voting activities, modification in any candidates name and it is very helpful in calculating the votes implied for each candidate. This project is about computerizing College Voting System. Where Voters can vote the Candidate through Internet. This project developed using VB.NET and all the record stores in SQL server database.

Modules of College Voting System
- Admin Module: The admin is given full authority of the software and can add, delete and modify the candidates’ details and can also declare the results.
- Candidates Module: Allows the admin to specify the post of the candidates along with the other required details.
- Courses Module: Handles the list of the degree courses available in the college.
- Voters Module: Allows the admin to add student details such as their name and register number.
- Voting Module: Allows the students to vote for their preferred candidates.
- Election Results Module: Displays the final results after the voting process is over.
- Settings Module: Allows the admin to configure E-Mail settings.
- Candidate Module: Allows the admin to specify the post of the candidates along with the other required details.
- Course Module: Handles the list of the degree courses available in the college.
- Voter Module: Allows the admin to add student details such as their name and register number, course, etc.
- Voting Schedule Module: In this module, the admin can add or schedule voting for the Student President and Vice Presidents.
- Voting Module: Allows the students to vote for their preferred candidates. This system has two types of voting – Manual and Automated. The admin needs to select the type of voting method before the election.
- Election Results Module: Displays the final results after the voting process is over. The student will receive an Email notification after the election is over.
- Settings Module: Allows the admin to configure E-Mail settings.
- Dashboard Module: The admin is given full authority of the software and can add, delete and modify the candidates’ details and can also declare the results.
